Join coach Biff “Handstands” Bifareti for this progressive workshop which focuses on proven techniques to develop your handstand and inversion skills. All levels are welcome, the workshop is beginner friendly; no handstand experience is necessary to attend.

Handstands are a whole body movement, you will learn the right exercises and cues to advance your balance, strength, and mobility from fingertips to toes.

Topics to be covered:
Hand placement & wrist conditioning
Shoulder mobility
Core strength & breathing techniques
Hip & glute exercises
Proper muscle engagement while inverted

Drills include:
Different ways to enter handstand
How to use the wall in a variety of positions to build strength and comfort while inverted
How to spot and work with a spotter
How to fall or bail safely
Getting better alignment in freestanding handstand, and supplementary arm balances/ inversions to complement your handstand practice.
Build a solid base for more advanced Handbalancing & experience carry over into a wide variety of athletic movements.

About Biff “Handstands” Bifareti~ founder, Handstand Coach, and Personal/ Group Trainer.

Biff has several years experience teaching bodyweight calisthenics exercise including inversions & handstands to beginners through advanced students in both one on one and group settings. He completed the ACE personal training certification in 2012, Action Personal Trainer certification in 2017, and more recently trained under the guidance of world-class hand balancing artists. Biff loves to share his knowledge of anatomy and bio-mechanics to help his students better understand their mind-body connection and achieve their fitness goals.

In addition to handbalancing Biff enjoys reading, rock climbing, hiking, and dancing.
