“”This city is objectively terrible for Parkour.”
-Wenxin Yang, 2013-2018 (every single year since moving here)
For those that know me, Parkour is my greatest. One of the biggest disappointments of my life thus far was attending university in a city with horrible architecture (this was confirmed to me by an architect friend).
However, that has not stopped me from training. And in the past couple of years, I tried to make the most of my environment by creatively utilizing the spots in this city to the best of my abilities.
I wish to share this experience with others.
I invite everyone to come to Columbus for a weekend old-school style Parkour jamming, where we simply explore and play on our surroundings without expectation.
There are no world-class spots. There are no massive indoor facilities. There are comfortable food/sleeping arrangements. Lets bring it back to the early 2000s where we simply gathered to be excited to train with another person that also do this insane sport we call Parkour.

Like I said, this is no spectacular event. Just hanging out for the weekend, exploring the city, probably drinking too much smoothies. A lot of the activities this weekend will be played by ear. Further information coming soon.”
