Send a Beast to Beast
Overview:
The Send a Beast to Beast initiative gives youth from the District of Columbia public school system a chance to experience the vibrant parkour lifestyle festival Beast Coast Jam. At this event they are able to train with and learn from experienced and inspirational practitioners from around the country and around the world. We offer this experience to the children at no cost, funding it through sponsorships and donations from individuals. American Parkour offers the experience at over 40% off the regular ticket price, to help the donor’s contributions serve as many children as possible.
Objective:
In 2019 we would like to send 50 children to Beast Coast. If we are able to achieve this, we will setup a dedicated beginner seminar for them. There is already a dedicated kid’s area with volunteer coaches on staff.
How You Can Help:
You can directly support this initiative by purchasing a ticket for a child to attend. On our EventBrite page, select the “Send a Beast to Beast” ticket option. Each ticket purchased will send one child to Beast Coast.
