PK L.I.T.E (Low Impact Training Elements)
Often, the first thing that comes to mind when people think of parkour is “isn’t that bad for your knees?!” Well, the short answer is “maybe.” The long answer is, parkour can be harmful if you progress too fast and don’t have the requisite strength. However, when you condition your body properly through progressive strength and recovery cycles and train parkour in a way that is mindful of the effect the movements have upon the body, parkour is a safe and effective long-term method for building strong, fit and physically capable people, no matter what age you are. So, if you feel like you want to try parkour but you need to get in shape first, PK LITE is for you!
For veterans, if you’re looking to find a way to make those strides even bigger, or your climb-up smoother and faster and want to take your training to a higher level, guess what? This class is also for you!
How do we do it? From the moment you come into PK LITE you’re given your own personalized program that will take you from where you are to where you want to be!
This class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00pm – 7:00pm.
If you’re currently a student in another class, it’s only an additional $30.00/month to your membership.
