WCT Americas is happy to offer the 8 Meter quad to the Pan-American Region. After discussion with World Chase Tag HQ and the other WCT Regional Licensors, we have decided to offer the 8 Meter Quad, as it has been deemed appropriate for use in Regional Qualifier events. The 8 Meter Quad fits in a much smaller required footprint – 31 feet X 31 feet (or 961 ft²) compared to the 12 Meter Quad with a required footprint of 44 feet by 44 feet or 1936 ft². These space requirements are calculated by adding a minimum of 4 feet of clearance on at least 2 sides of the course, this is necessary to meet the minimum requirement for proper refereeing. Spaces with obstructions such as poles may be able to be accommodated in the middle of the course with strategic placement, but an assessment needs to be done to make sure that the Quad would be in regulation.
For the 12 Meter Quad, Chaser Plate side must be clear. At least one other side must have at least 4 feet of clearance.

For the 8 Meter Quad, the Chaser Plate side must be clear. Either of the green sides must also be clear.
