Oh and Gwy... Could you tell me, How I failed?
Because you can only get better through practicing what is right, because obviously you're the guru of all that is.
I'm swimming in my sea of fail, and you're up on your pirate ship of win..

Teach me oh master, teach me.

And Mr. Muhammad Howell, thank you. You're a good man.

Iowa / OPEN GYM IN COUNCIL BLUFFS
« on: August 23, 2009, 07:26:45 PM »
Hey guys.. and for political correctness gals if there are any of you out there...

There will be an open gym here in Council Bluffs starting the first tuesday of September, I believe the 1st.

its a one time $7, for insurance for the whole year to the gym.
and $5 to Andrew weekly, he's paying for the monthly fee, and this would help him out.

its Tuesday 7:30-9:00 pm

Artistic Academy is located at 34th and Broadway on the south side, behind the Salvation Army

If anyone would be interested.. Send me a message, anlynoliva@gmail.com

www.artistic-academy.com is the gyms website..
I just set this up, basically because there arent any open gyms on tuesdays.

turned out leaving early was a bad choice.

We stopped off in Chicago, took some shots of wrigley field.
OH my god that was amazing.

Then it took a shit ton of time to get out of chicago.
because aparently theres only like 1 f#cking way out of that city..

so its like 730 by that time..
driving until about midnight.
and we careen off the interstate a mile short of the worlds largest truckstop.
stayed there until 8 am. got towed out.

drove from 830 on.. just got home at like 2.
overall bad decision.

But that jam was stomp f#cking ass.

I should be in town some time around 3 maybe 4 ish.

Figure I'm leaving here sometime between midnight and 2 am, Thursday night.

its a 10 hour drive to Dylans house.
then another 2, 2 and ahalf back to Lafayette.

call it a total of 13 hours..
give or take another hour for layovers, and stopping for gas, and irrigation breaks.
14 hours.
then the one hour time zone change.
so yeah. 3-4ish.

SUPER STOKED!

Oh hey guys.
I'm pretty stoked about this week...

Where is everyone meeting up?
I know what city, and whatnot, but unless this city is one square block, I might have some trouble finding the spot.

and what time, would be a good time on friday to be there?
Its a like a 14 hour drive all toll, I'm picking Dylan up too.

Oh another thing.

I will be bringing an 07 Kia Spectra, with room for three in the backseat.
Its the girlfriends, and she'd be coming with, mostly because she's never left this area, and maybe some for parkour.. (she says she wants to train, but doesnt have time to get good enough, I dont know, she's odd)

I might be picking someone up from ISU, not sure where he'd be staying, but Conway said that he could house she and I. (I think that was what was arranged)

Oh my point of this.. We'll have a car that can go from one spot to another during the jimdiddilyjamjam.

Parkour And Freerunning / Re: The Advancement of Parkour
« on: February 06, 2009, 09:07:08 AM »
I do know that humans will always wish to be free.  Parkour is an expression of this.  We throw up walls and rails to safeguard our selves even at the cost of freedom, but then we turn around and adapt to overcome them and once again be free.

great quote man.

Iowa / Re: Hot Spots
« on: February 05, 2009, 10:42:34 AM »
More CB hotspots.

Walnut grove.  29th and ave J.  two equipment set ups. parallel bars, monkey bars, plenty of platforms. underbars, picnic tables. a few sets of rails. a pretty good sized gap. park benches.

Roosevelt Elementary 16th and ave F. big set of equipments. plenty of open gravel/sand. open faced platforms, three sets of monkey bars. tall tables.

Dreamland Park LAKE MANAWA area. (just follow the signs) Very large equipment set. precisions galore, friendly area, wood construction. all around very good spot to check out.  some of the ground is wood chips, some is fine beach sand (as its close to a beach itself)

Railroad Museum 5th st and 4th ave. HUGE rail set, plenty of walls. downside.. possible security guards as its in eyesight of the courthouse.

Upon further thought of 'HOT SPOT' I really wouldnt call any of these 'hot' because I know of three traceurs in council bluffs, but its a few places that we hit.

anyone ever need a guide.. myspace.com/rockerolive <<< thats me.
