hey everybody. im asuming most of you are aware that foucan has a good sized role in the upcoming James Bond film, Casino Royale. They just released some stills from the production and this is the only parkour-ish one. theres quite a few there, but most aren't of parkour. the film, however, should have a good amount of parkour action so definitely go check it out.

I personally like the way of finding inclined walls that get more vertical as you prgress. I've gotten good at them that way.

Parkour And Freerunning / Re: How do you describe Parkour to someone?
« on: November 17, 2005, 05:26:18 PM »
I find that to people who don't know about it, freerunning makes the most sense. They can comprehend that. If your explaining it to someone who is interested in PK or someone in the media, a better definition should be used. But when I've been to the doctor, I just say I did it freerunning and it takes much less time to explain.

Really good article. I must admit tho, when I PK, I never think about escaping or being chased. Sure it's crossed my mind that PK would be useful if I was ever being chased by the cops, but I really dont plan getting myself into that position anyways. I do it more for the freestyle aspect, even if some people consider "freestyle" a dirty word. I can't do backflips, but if I could, I would do them as part of a series of moves. I undertsand no one would do a backflip while running from the cops, but I'm not escaping from the cops. I'm out there cuz I want to be. Thus, "free"style.

I really like anything aisic. I have a HUGE arch in my foot and they're the only shoes that support it. have held up excellent too.
