Tricking / Flipping
« on: March 03, 2011, 09:54:01 AM »
I need to learn how to flip. I can do it great in the water but when on land I feel odd about doing it. Any advise. Don't have a trampoline or a friend with one either.

Parkour / Gaps
« on: February 16, 2011, 01:58:21 PM »
I am afraid of gaps and I don't know how to get over it. Because of this I am not able to go further in parkour. I can handle a gap the size of a ruler but anything bigger then a foot and I'm scared shitless. I'm not that scared of heights cause I do a ton of climbing and it's not the balance that I'm worried about cause I have great balance, but for some reason the feeling of not having my feet on the ground scares me. Drops are easy for me too.

So I ask you all this, How do I get over my fear of gaps?

Michigan / When summer starts we meet

Oi all so listen up. I'm planning a parkour meet in my small town of Eaton Rapids. We don't have a lot to provide but at the same time we have nearly everything. We would be meeting at the playground of dreams which is a playground that anyone in the town knows, just ask anyone and they will point you the right way. Once everyone got there we would all play a friendly game of tag. The only rule is you can't touch the grass once it has started. After that we would all walk around the town and see what there is to do and where we can do some parkour. The roof tops are a option but not everyone in town likes us on there. We can talk about what each of us are able to do and show off as much as possible. It would be for a total of three days that we have this meet up and I would advise that you bring a tent cause we would all stay out side for the night. We would spend each night at the park or behind the schools talking, sleeping, or even hanging out. The next day we would all go to a little spot in the lake that is clean and really fun to swim in. We would all go swimming and if we can find a good tree then we can hang a rope to swing from. After some time swimming we would go to the schools and do some parkour around some of the parks and maybe on the roofs. That night we could all go to the football stadium of our town and have a good game of foot ball. Those who don't want to play ball can do some parkour or hang out on the roof's of the ticket booth. We can edit this up all up until three months prior of the meet. So who here is coming and what do you think of the meet?

MI Jams / Eaton Rapids Parkour Jam
« on: November 30, 2010, 06:56:14 PM »
I was planning on having anyone who wants to to come to my town to have a parkour jam. Wow that's a lot of to's. It would from Friday to Sunday and I haven't a clue on rooms or place's to sleep. We are a small town so really the only place I can think of is in a tent in the woods if you would want to. Sorry that this isn't really that planned. We would meet each other at 2pm on Friday, December 10th. I can house some people in my room but not many. You could also pitch a tent on the roof of some buildings on the condition that you don't make any noise. There are people living under neath there and we don't want to desturve them. All in all there is only one place to camp out where you can have a fire and that's a ways from the town. There is one building that everyone thinks is abandoned. No one knows. You could pitch a tent on the second floor but use no lights but flash lights and no shiny in the windows unless you cover them up. We would need to pick up all trash that we leave and behave like adults . . . yea right. So yea who can attend?
