Hi, im brand new to parkour and i actually just tried rolling for the first time ( parkour wise) and i put my elbow in side of my knee and held on to my foot, but i wasnt able to keep ahold of it the whole roll. Any suggestions for that? And i have watched turtorials but i kinda need descriptions because i cant  figure out whats what in the videos. Im trying to have a friend help me, but he keeps leaving and doing it while "teaching" so, any advice?

hi, im new to parkour and freerunning and i really would like to give my all. I am trying to find some small movements to start out with right now. Just some ones i can practice and get used to. Im practicing rolling? I am a girl, i dont know if that has anything to do with this sport, but id love some replies and explinations describing the movements. I have watched tutorials but i do not quite get them. thank you :)
