Very impressive. :)

This community's culture is based on friendliness and inclusiveness. Language like that is not only inappropriate in this setting, but it can make parents of young children who want to learn about parkour uncomfortable with this community, which is not something we want.

Our forum censor may not be able to catch 100% of what it should. Users have the ability to change their own usernames. I'm politely asking you to change your username to something within the rules and culture of this community.

I don't want to derail this thread any further, so I encourage you to PM me or email me ( if you'd like to talk about this anymore.

Without further adieu, I return you to your previously posted thread.

This is pretty much the most BAMF training song ever:

In unrelated news, you should probably change your username. We're a family-friendly forum here, rated try to keep it PG-13.

Some options of what you can change it to are: f#ckinMarkAlmighty

Take your pick or come up with your own! :)

Especially when you had to dedicate an entire post to clarifying. :)

Sometimes it's easier just to write out what you mean. It's easier for others to understand/read too!

Freerunning, not 3running. :)

Also, I'd skip over the NYC ban thing. First of all, it wasn't really ever banned. A guard just told them they couldn't train somewhere anymore - no laws were passed or anything.

Instead talk about the good it can do, and lead into LNT and other community service efforts (Parkour Visions non-profit outreach efforts, etc)

Hmm...  :D

Also, love the sig.

Thanks for the encouragement! Some of those ideas already have libraries of literature about them already - I'd like to avoid rehashing the same topics as everyone else.

I might do one about quality of food though. That's a good idea. (Why did you eat at McDonalds? :p)

Any other ideas? Or feedback on the post?

New York / Re: Parkour in Troy

Look at the top of the New York forum. There's a thread you should probably read. :)

I used to blog quite a bit about parkour (and a lot of other stuff). I slowed down, and then stopped due to some technical issues. I resolved those a few days ago, and I've started to blog again!

The first one I wrote is about the importance of travel.

I'm hoping to start blogging close-to-weekly. I'm going to take requests for the next blog, so if you have a question, ask it here! It can be about me, about parkour, about my thoughts on parkour, or about my thoughts on anything else! If someone asks something really good, I might write a whole blog post, otherwise I'll take a few of the most interesting and write a post based on those.

Let me know what you think!

Swimming is hard. Jesse can vouch for me.

Mike are you still training? Good to see you around. :)

That's not really so far. It's not so unusual to drive 1+ hours for a good open gym. It might not be the most convenient thing ever, but do it anyway! Once a week, what's the loss?

No necroposting please, thanks.

Dude, W0LF, I haven't seen you around here in forever.
