Parkour And Freerunning / Re: Fight or Flight?

Here's a point of view I haven't seen here yet:  What about any women observing?  If some punk is being a jerk to you, and you just keep cool but stand firm, take some hits if you need to, chicks will really dig it (most of the time), just don't be a wimp about it.  Stand strong.

Parkour And Freerunning / Concealed Carry while exercising Parkour?
« on: April 20, 2009, 10:26:41 PM »
Not starting a political discussion, but I was wondering if it is practical to carry a concealed firearm while Running- not right, or "trouble with authorities", just if you can still roll, land and vault well while carrying one.  Nothing large, just a Colt 1911.

Well said, todd.  I think that is exemplary to how we should be treating these sort of incidents.

Well, I'm extremely new to this, and was just wondering if anybody lived here who could help me train occasionally.  Specifically Camp Foster area for me.  Any other 'mericans here?

Welcome! / Re: Welcome Thread - New Members please announce here!

Hello, I'm Patrick, I'm a Marine's kid living on a military installation in Okinawa, Japan.  Plan on joining special forces when I'm older (no joke) and have been interested in Parkour ever since I played Assassin's Creed, then Mirror's edge, and figured the two will go together well. (parkour/spec forces, not videogames). I'm in pretty good shape for a normal freshman, but kinda bad for a Traceur, judging by the workout.  Working on completing the basic workout and rolling right now.  Anybody else living on Oki?

Feel akward with this as my first post, but the FAQ and Rules links in the first post here don't work.  I'll see if I can find them elsewhere.
