Parkour And Freerunning / Re: wanting to train but im sore.

I seriously doubt you're in risk of overtraining unless you're running daily marathons. Do a warmup like some jogging and start off easy. Working the sore muscles will help them feel better.
But going off what Beretta said, don't try anything that's too hard or that might hurt you. If the pain dosen't let up or you start hurting worse then take the day off.

Americans just have many many misconceptions about exercise and proper dieting.  In example, see the food pyramid.
This is true.

Americans as a whole have no self-control and no work ethic. Simple as that. They eat garbage and then ask "Why am I fat? I use my bowflex for ten minutes, 3 days a week after I eat my KFC!"

Only move around so you don't hurt yourself. Don't get into a habit of walking around during your handstand, it's bad balance.

Simple progression. First do cartwheels, then work on round-offs and get used to the motion.
If you're just trying to learn to do them on the trampoline, controlling your center of gravity is the main thing.

When you do a regular handstand, don't walk around to stay up, that ruins your balance. Instead, focus on keeping your hands on one place. Once you can hold a handstand in place for about a minute, one handed handstands should come easy.

Jared is forced to reveal the real way he lost all that weight.  It wasn't Subway, it was liposuction!  He could have gotten away with it if he hadn't kept all of it ...

Diet / Re: Diet on school days--need help
« on: November 21, 2009, 01:47:22 PM »
It comes down to this: if you eat more, you gain weight.
If you want to gain muscle mass, try going to a gym and lifting if you can fit it into your schedule.
For time management, try this: Make 30 PB&J sandwiches all at once, put them in individual sealed ziploc bags, and toss them in the freezer. Now, if you need a sandwich or snack, you've got a sandwich ready to go. They won't go bad so you can take them to school for lunch, and they're pretty good frozen.
If you're a protein drinker, Get a pack of 40 water bottles, pour the water into an empty pitcher for drinking, then put the power in the empty bottles. Then, if you want a shake, it's already half-made. (I put protein power and gatorade power together. Then just add water)

Haven't drank soda in years.
Drink a gallon of water a day.
Don't eat white grains.

Stick with the water. Gatorade is great during or after a strenuous workout. Don't just drink it when you're thirsty; that's what water's for.

Wheats(preferably whole) and starches. Stuff like toast, rice, pasta, and potatoes are loaded with carbs. Also any sugar is going to have carbs so fruits like apples and oranges are great for healthy carbs.

I wear brightly colored spandex and run around my city fighting crime. But only on the weekends.
