I'm 14 and my greatest accomplishment was probably saving the game winning goal in a tournament with a header when the goalie got knocked out.

Fear is for a reason (unless its like those things on Youtube where the people are afraid of peanut butter and stuff like that).  Acknowledge your fear and attempt to overcome it; not just forget about it completely.

"There's nothing to fear but fear itself."

Since this symbol will be associated with APK for a while, should voting be for longer than 1 week, like maybe 2 or 3 weeks?  Then on the last week, the banner for the site can be designed.

I kept expecting him to bail/fall at any moment. Just WOW!  :o :o :D
Not to burst his bubble, but he probably has bailed/falled many times, they were just edited out of the video.

That kid will be a legend, lets just hope he doesn't get hurt.

What exactly does this abbreviation stand for.  I have seen it used around in the general discussion section and was just a little curious.

On another forum, members could become VIPs and get access to a special forum that nobody else got.  I thought that was pretty sweet.

When I upload a picture, is gets stretched sideways and distorted.  Is there a way to fix this?

Parkour And Freerunning / Re: Stop the Bullshit campaign - Real Names

I changed mine.  I used the first syllable of my last name so I don't get any creepers.  Good thing I'll be getting some parkour moves after I get my leg cast off to run away from guys with candy.

My thoughts:

I still kinda like the flame.  It would look straight up sexy on the back of a black zip-up hoody.
I'm not a big fan of M2's design, not sure why.
I REAAALLY (emphasis on really) like the logo with the 5 lines and one straight through.
The big parkour thing that looks like a guy running is clever, just needs a little fine tuning.
Leon's logo is pretty sweet and I would rock that down the street.

So my vote goes to whoever created the 5 line thing.

Also, I haven't started parkour yet, but I know what it is and what it is not.  If I got a shirt, would I be considered bad representation for apk?

Build you confidence on easy things and safety before you graduate to bigger things.

I say Georgia, not only because I live there, but also because the low cost of living.  In my area, there are plenty of kids that would go in a heartbeat.

Parkour And Freerunning / Re: Practicing Alone
« on: October 24, 2008, 05:28:35 PM »
Although I haven't started parkour yet due to having a fractured tibia, I think practicing alone is good in moderation.  Once I get my cast off and finish physical therapy, I'll probably ask one of my friends to train with me at the country club a mile away from my house.  Hopefully he doesn't blow past me because I think he started training a while ago and he's naturally more athletic than me.  Oh well.

Have fun and be safe.

At soccer, we were thinking of good goal scoring celebrations before I broke my leg.  One kid taught everyone how to do rolls so after a goal, we all did rolls back to our side.

Hi my name is Ronnie and I'm 14.  I live outside of Atlanta in Alpharetta but I'm really not looking to meet up with anyone because that might be a little awkward for me.  I've wanted to start parkour for a long time but never actually did.  Now I finally have the determination but I fractured my tibia playing soccer and am in a full leg cast for a couple of weeks.  Once I finish physical therapy, I'll probably start training.  Anyone know of some good places to start?
