The Dash, cause the worst that happens is you end up standing on what you were trying to jump over.

not true, i tried to do a dash one day and about smashed my face into the concrete... lucky me i know how to roll

this is hard, i love so many of them... for now ill say kong vaults because they feel so natural and the dive is a thrill. also semi big to big drops followed by a roll,  the feeling of falling is unmatched

Parkour And Freerunning / Re: Parkour + Olympics?
« on: August 19, 2008, 04:10:41 PM »
my opinions:

1. parkour would be very hard to judge(controversy)- unless it was a timed obstacle course
2. pakour has always been primarily non competition
3. if table tenis can get into the olympics(ive seen it) so could parkour
4. I think that even though parkour consits of some of the most extreme athletes in the world i still dont think it should be in the olympics

once again these are just my opinions ;)

any sport/activity that helps keep you in peak shape, i personally do karate-definitely good for strength- and some free diving,  also any martial art or gymnastics would be great for parkour/free running

stupid question: do you have to be of texas parkour to compete
