No worries. It was a few things. First I under-rotated on a flip and landed right on my shoulder which put me in a sling for a month or so. Shortly after that I misjudged a precision and split open my right shin, resulting in stitches and crutches for a couple weeks. Finally I vaulted a 15-18ft balcony and landed on uneven ground and basically landed on my angle instead of my foot, which sprained it terribly. It's still not back to normal, actually, and that was August 05. :(

Nah, moved when I was 13. I live in Atlanta now. But Frosti and I jammed in Waikiki once. It was pretty rad. There's a video of it somewhere floating around.

Lol, awesome.

Where are you guys based? It almost looks like Kailua (my hometown!).

Wow, some more faces I know! Sweet. Yeah I think what put me off parkour a few years ago were the injuries. I got pretty messed up from it all. If I'm to start back up I'm gonna take it a lot slower and really stick to the milder stuff and speed. Time's the other factor. With LF and other obligations it's tough to have time to really devote to this, but later on today I think I'm going to go out and train a little bit. There's a bunch of people around here that have been asking to be taught some basic stuff like rolls and vaults, so I'm gonna meet them and show em the ropes. ;)

@ BNP: Yeah, I'd heard there were more and more folks in Atlanta training, and even a few from Marietta (which is where I live). I think I may have actually seen your video on YouTube the other day, but I'm not positive. Either way it was cool to see folks jamming at the same spots we'd used years back. I haven't talked to Ryan in ages either, although I think a friend of mine ran into him not too long ago at the mall or something. I wonder if he's still in Conyers? We were like the first 2 guys to PK in Georgia back in like '03 or something. That first jam was so epic because we barely knew what we were doing!

"Atlanta had a surege of people for teh two years you've been gone, now its faded into 1-2 people due to babies/school"

@ zujitsu: Good to see you too! Yeah, things are going really well for me, I'm just starting to get a little antsy w/o any sort of exercise. Sometimes at work I'll randomly start vaulting our forklift and that sort of thing, so it's totally in my blood still... lol. And thanks for the LF love! Here's a little coupon if you ever do get anything: "sofresh" (-10%)

@ FreeStyleFox: Thanks bro. Glad I could inspire ya. ;)

@ akh: Wow, I love the video, and can't believe you guys are going to go for a full feature length film! Too awesome. And FOPK! Talk about old school. That was what, 05? 04? Did anything become of it or was it even saved by anyone?

@JumpOff(myroof): Yeah, actually Sov was kind of the one that made me think about poking my head in here and saying hi. I signed onto AIM last night for the first time in years and he was on. Told me about Frosti being on survivor too. Ha, I still can't get over that!

@ Demon: Hey! Life's good. Still designing tees and doing illustrations and what not. In fact I've really been focusing all efforts o0n getting Linty Fresh at the moment, trying to get it to a point where I can live off it. And other than that, tossing around the idea of starting to train again. Watching those vids on Akh's page has got me infused!

Hey guys!

Just wanted to say congratulations on all the exposure - you've put a ton of effort into this and it looks like it's all paying off. I know it's been ages since I showed my face here (and it's cool to see a lot of my work still displayed), but I haven't forgotten about you awesome folks!

And for those newer ones to the scene - keep at it! I'd wager that the folks that were getting started as I was leaving are extremely skilled at this point, probably a lot more than I ever was! Anyhow, that's all. Just wanted to say hi and see how the old schoolers were doing... ;)

If this game ever does hit shelves, I have a strong feeling it won't have strong expectations from Eidos itself. Remember, they had to remove all of the UF characters from the game and come up with new ones. They also lost a lot of their input from the traceurs they'd relied on so much in the beginning. I'll be surprised if there's really anything left of this game to release.

And I'm 100% with M2 on this. I still have all my Legos, fully sorted by type and color, because I used to be OCD like that.

That's fantastic, I'm glad to hear it worked out. Sincerest apologies for the kink we ran into in getting the files straight. I've since resolved all issues regarding printing through Custom Ink (as a matter of fact, I'm getting a batch of about 75 shirts in the mail today). In the future I'm going to communicate with Custom Ink directly so that my client doesn't have to mess with the files and get all stressed out over it. I feel pretty bad about you having to do that. So if you're interested, I'll send you a free shirt from my latest batch. You can find more info at my portfolio ( Just email me size and color. And thanks again for hiring me for the job. I had a blast working with you guys!

Mike, blast me an email if you're looking for a shirt designer. You can check out my portfolio at for examples of parkour shirts I've done in the past...

Just wanted to poke my head in to be sure that everyone was happy with their shirt! It looks like they were able to match the colors pretty decently, and I know you ordered top-notch shirts to print on. I was also wondering if it would be possible to snag the group picture from the Tempest jam in CO for my portfolio. (I'll stick the photographer's name in the bottom corner.) Hope things are going well in sunny Colorado!

As cool as it is for you guys to be so eager to permanently ink designs I've done into your bodies, I'd suggest not doing it. Like M2 said, can you really think of a single piece of clothing that you'd be willing to wear for the rest of your life?...

It's a scary thought.

Looks like you guys are some of the first there. I'd definitely do a field day in the Waikiki area. Frosti and I jammed there a couple of summers ago, and there was a lot of neat stuff, plus the variety was great. Check it out when you've got some time!

That's my M2. Always thinking like a manager. ;) I'll have to mull over that one. It's still got about 300 hours worth of work left, I'd estimate...

Nope, it's still sitting in a file, doing nothing. What I have so far is already much better than the first, but I just couldn't nail down a tune to fit it as well as the last one did, so I'm hesitant to go on. It's about halfway done, though.
