Parkour / Re: Im scared of monkey vaults

its about the chance of 5% getting it wrong, always take them chances and you will never fail, its just if you dont concentrate you could face plant, and if you repeat and practise then you will master it

FAQ / Re: What shoes should I wear for Parkour?
« on: June 14, 2008, 08:00:16 AM »
go buy the araikes if you want a PK shoe's grip to last a month, coz thats what happens with them. After 2 months with them mine had a hole in the toe from cat grabs and the grip had gone, so i suggest noone buy these and go but some addidas running trainers or some asics

Parkour And Freerunning / Re: is parkour illegal?
« on: June 03, 2008, 07:05:35 AM »
most police in my area dont know what parkour is. so they just move us on and we go somewhere else to train, we cant do much against the law to be honest. bad mouth a cop and you get told off/ possibly arrested if you push it too far, but if you just say ok and move on from the place you are training then they wont bother you anymore. I guess its the same as playing football in a restricted area, just the cops think every area is a restricted area for parkour

me and my mates saw some chavs climbing up a wall and watch all of them do it and named a vault after them, its called a chav vault where when your in muscle up position, you swing your legs over and end up laying on your belly on the wall and you look a prat. ohwell thats a chav vault (btw it isnt really a vault but we still called it that)

The very first video that I saw was one of those Urban Ninja videos they have on youtube :D. It showed me how if you work hard enough and really want something you can do things you never knew you would ever be able to do. After that I looked up more parkour videos until I finally decided to try it.

those urban ninja guys say they do PK but they just flip around a hell of a lot XD they are still good at what they do but its boring seeing them flip over and over again when its says 'parkour' on the video name
