Doesn't seem like uf should be able to post all awesome pk videos on their channel.

i dunno if they ask the people or just do it and give them proper credit - if its the latter - seems like an easy way to use other peoples sweet vids to build up cred. undeserved cred.

It was a lot more parkour-oriented this time, with all the stuff you see from normal traceurs. With a name like "Furyary," I was expecting something even more ridiculous than Jangerary or Rage-Froobling, but this is definitely straight-up parkour. But it goes to show, they're still awesome, without all the bizarro stuff they do.

But the song... man... totally grated on my ears... I'm turning the volume off when I watch it again.

What? if you don't consider jangerary or rage froobling parkour then you're "bizarro"

As much as I hate downtown Denver,

I love downtown denver! Its got that awesome city feeling without being execisvly filthy. Especially Skyline Park and 16nth street mall. I like citys like Denver and Honolulu.
Hee. Like I said, once I get used to the 'big city' (I grew up in small towns), and the transport system, maybe it won't be so bad. Plus, I'll have a bunch of great people to meet up with, and that's great incentive :)

i'm gonna be trying to get myself acclimated with denver and the bus system as well so no worries.

other note:

will there be like a regular open gym time or are we gonna be able to go whenever we want (after paying whatevs)

Socialize / weekly online comics that are awesome?
« on: February 28, 2009, 05:45:37 PM »
I know there are a million different weekly  comics, but I'm talking about serious more than just 3 panels weekly.

I just found written by Warren Ellis, and its badass. If anyone knows of any similar weekly comics, I would greatly appreciate it.

So Jordan and I decided we should meet up Tuesday at 6.

This would mean maybe more people could show up? I think we're fine with that time being finalized unless there are objections.

We were doing wall runs/climbs on the loading dock wall of the umc.

Head of environmental services or something like that came up and told us theres no way we could do any type of "climbing" or "jumping" on campus because of liability issues. When he told us to stop I was doing a wall run and jordan was doing a handstand, that is all he saw us doing.
I told him we had 100+ ppl here over the summer with no issues and assured me there would have been if he had known about it.

He said he would facilitate arrests if necc, which is ridiculous to say since the police don't care. The umc security lady brought up the prior warnings and I assured her we didn't do those things anymore (like walking on the ledge w the drop).

Should we stop training on campus till we sort it out with this guy or ignore him?

Hopefully this will be addressed today (1/31), but I wanna make sure its dealt with promptly. Jordan and I were approached by the environmental head of schools or something and said no way can we do any parkour on campus ever.  ??? I tried to make him realize he was being ridic, but he didn't care, umc security lady was cool about it, but was there to make sure we listened to the guy.

so lame. i'm hopin ryan or matt can talk to them and will be sall good?

happy trainings to all.
