If you could meet one living person and spend a day or so with him/her, who would it be ?

For me, I have no words for how awesome it would be to meet Orson Scott Card.

Socialize / Weird weather

Ok, so our weather here is weird.  We've had probably more than usual snows and such this winter [last couple have been mild], but it's abating at last.  This past week has been 60-70 most of the time, it's been great.  Yesterday was around 70, and my roommates and I had talked about going biking if the trails were dry [it had rained a bit a few days prior].  I get up this morning, not to a Spring-like day, but to overcast skies and about 1" of snow.  What ?  ???  Where did this come from ?  Why must it hamper my weekends ? :(

Parkour And Freerunning / Destiny

Apparently, I've been destined for Parkour, it's just taken me a while to get here.

On a most readily-observable note, I use the nickname 'dash' online, have for years.  Some of you may put the pieces together and realize this is a somewhat important step to Parkour, even more so that a specific move is named after it.

Before this nickname, I used the nickname 'Whiteflipp'.  Yes, somewhat cliche, but also, flips are somewhat integrated with Parkour.

Finally, I just found this picture of myself, at the ripe old age of not very old:

Parkour And Freerunning / Other resources

Kind of beating a dead horse here, but anybody have any suggestions for finding more local people who do Parkour ?  I'd like to learn it, but I don't trust myself enough to go out and just start by myself, and I'd really rather do it with other people anyways.  I live in Kansas, and the Kansas board is rather dead.  I haven't had any luck finding any local people through other means, either.  Any suggestions for finding more ?

I just saw this on another forum, thought it looked cool. I was never into the old animated show much, didn't see the other movie, but this looks pretty cool [though trailers are supposed to do that I suppose]
