These shoes are half the price of the ariake's but in my opinion in every way better. Here they are
The grip on these shoe's are phenomenal and everywhere that my Ariakes slipped these have help their grip. The impact isn't as great as the Ariakes but!, this makes you work on your form so in my opinion it is better. This way your not relying on the shoe to help bad form. The impact is in no means bad, it just isn't as good as Ariakes. Anyways give me your opinion or whatever.

Hey in August I'm going to be coming down to the Los Angeles area, so I was just seeing who is around that area. I will be there for about a week or 2 so I'd like to hit someone up down there. I know all the basics and I help lead Parkour Classes where I do parkour at.

Socialize / Finally!

I finally had a Parkour dream last night! It was awesome, it started out with me just walking down a street. Then out of nowhere 4 men ran at me with swords. So I ran up to a set of rail's doing precisions from each one into a cat leap. Then continued doing different movements but the awesome part was I was so confident that I wasn't scared as soon as I got out of arms reach. At first I was obviously scared but once I got into the actual movement I felt confident. Anyways just wanted to share that with you and if you've had one post it.

Here are directions to the Jam at Wonderland for those who need them.

Take Parks into Wasilla
pass Fred Meyers, the Lake, and go to Main St. Take Rt.
(Train Depot will be on left & Tesoro on Rt.)
Go to 2nd intersection and turn left. (Don't remember the name of that street, I think it's Bogard? Big intersection w/ stoplight)
Go to the next intersection 4-way Stop and go straight. Skate Park is 1st - Wonderland is 2nd.

= [ Mah Ariakes have basically lost the grip in the front portion of the shoe, the part without the cushioning circles and what not. Oh and the little spiky things are gone too. Is this something that other people are experiencing?? Will this get better or what? I got them off of too..

Hey all I finally got my Ariakes and they are amazing!!! I didn't factor in the size difference but they aren't really that much bigger. Anyways these shoes are wayyy grippy and they are really comfortable. =D I would definitely rate them 10/10 and would recommend them to anyone who is serious about parkour/ FreeRunning =D

Injuries - Discussion / Foot not healing?
« on: April 03, 2008, 06:38:59 AM »
Hey everyone, over spring break I went down to the Florida Keys and had a blast. The last day though it didn't end so fun..I was working on basic movements on the 2 story condo and was getting pictures while doing it. When I headed up for the stairs it started out ok but once I reached the top and speed vaulted a rail I landed weird on my right foot causing pain behind the ball of my foot, then due to the fact that I wasn't on the stair very much it slid off hurting it even with a hurt foot I went ahead and went to the airport and flew back to Alaska the place I unfortunately call home...the next day I go to the doctors and get an x-ray. No break and no sign of really anything, the doctor concludes that I probably hyper extended something in the joint, and put me in this weird boot. He also said that after ten days it should be's five days after and it feels about the same as when it showed a sign of getting better then stopped. I'm not quite sure what's goin on but my dad said to just walk on it and stretch it out..=\ I think I should go to the doctor because I don't want to hurt it beyond healing so yeh...what do you guys think could be wrong?

Hey all this thread is basically the main thread for posting that you live in AK and want to either hold a Jam sometime or join a group or get taught some basics. So post away =D I know how slow this thread is but I'm just trying to make it easier for the small amount of people here who actually post.

Hey Guy's

This spring break I'm going to be heading your way down in the keyes for a scuba diving based trip. This also for me means new territory to try out. Before I head down there I'd just like to know if there are any specific spots to try out.

Hey guy's,

There's a new parkour/freerunning team in Wasilla now. We are Team Fused Parkour. Our name represents the fact that we are both a free running team and a parkour team sort of fused together. It's currently a team of 3 (two of wich, including me, have accounts here at APK. Just posting this to kinda spread the word and to get people to check us out. Well contact us for any questions from Harrison Lane or Jason Murak.  :P Peace.
