Mid-Atlantic / Saturday June 7th Micro Jam
« on: June 05, 2008, 07:43:45 PM »
On Saturday, June 7th, at 10:00 AM, me an a buddy will be 'hosting' a jam in the area surrounding Roslyn Metro Station.

The bridge in the background will be the meeting spot before we head-out and find somewhere less conspicuous to jam:

Just look for the kid with the shoulder-slug camera bag.

Please be sure to RSVP here on the forums so that I dont wind up going and not finding anyone there.

Parkour And Freerunning / parkour and its uses
« on: June 03, 2008, 04:51:00 AM »

Anyone have a story of how parkour helped you (or how you think it would help you) do something in your life? I know we have these stories posted all over the place, but I'd like to correlate them into one post.

Heres mine:
I'm going paintballing for my birthday in a few days, and am looking forward to seeing how parkour will help keep me from getting shot.

Mid-Atlantic / Me and a buddy need some help
« on: May 30, 2008, 10:26:39 AM »

This Sunday (June 1st), me and a friend are having a very impromptu jam. The reason: He is creating a video for his french class about parkour, and he needs footage. Me and him are O.K. and have allready gotten a little bit of footage, but we would like some shots of people who are more skilled than us. So, onto the jam info. It will be Sunday, June 1st, at and around the Rosslyn Metro station (near D.C., sorry those of you who dont live nearby) Probably around 2 PM in the afternoon.

Send an email to me at for more info and to RSVP.

Injuries - Discussion / More back related goodies
« on: February 27, 2008, 04:57:32 PM »
I have had lower back problems for a few years now.... and have gone through physical therapy so that it no longer bothers me...

Recently, however, I started having a severe stabbing pain in my back (just a quick single stab around the middle) that would leave me totally breathless.
So far, it has only happened when im laying down or sitting up in a chair. I have great posture without pain so im pretty sure the  muscles in my back are decently strong and therefore not the problem. Im more concerned with it being related to the disks in my spine or something like that.

Any ideas?

Parkour And Freerunning / Primal Fitness????? GONE???
« on: January 09, 2008, 06:44:38 PM »
I was looking over the Primal Fitness website, looking up information (specifically) on the Parkour boot camp.

I couldn't find it, i looked everywhere and nowhere did it mention the class that did exist less than a week ago. Now, this could just be me not being able to find anything (or it just disappearing and not being fixed yet), but does anyone know (primal fitness dudes) if the parkour boot camp stopped being offered?

Thanks for your help.

Parkour And Freerunning / Middle-of-no where USA
« on: December 03, 2007, 09:31:35 AM »
So, I wake up in the morning, wanting to train, I look out my window, thinking about where I will start.
What do I see?

Farmland and rolling hills for miles.

Any idea how to train in an area devoid of urban development?

much appreciated.
