Arkansas / tools of the trade
« on: April 19, 2009, 06:52:36 PM »
I guess the reason that the boards in arkansas are so dead is because everyone is out training or jamming. WOOT (i mean.. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT PIG SOOIE!)   anyway, i know you've all seen the  wooden barriers, that people use to train for vault and drop training, i was wondering. where to get on or how to make one.

Also, anyone in little rock training?

Any gymnasiums close to little rock that allow pk training?

Wanna Jam? Know any good spots close by?

Please... please wake up LR metro!!!!

Parkour And Freerunning / Fight or Flight?
« on: March 22, 2009, 06:38:52 PM »
I've practiced martial arts since i was 4.  My first instinct growing up was always to fight. I was wondering is there a point when, i become so comfortable with my ability to avoid rather than confont, that my instinct will be to run 9 times out of 10? Any thoughts?

Welcome! / out of shape novice, please help!!!

As you may be able to tell from my profile, i've been a member for a while but i haven't logged in since about the time that i joined. Well, a funny thing happened about 2 months after i joined...   A motorcycle accident.  I'm fine now but it seems that about 15 months of inactivity have left me a little flabby in the middle. I have always been into parkour, even before i knew it existed.  I'm simply looking to return to activity and change my life for the better. I'm doing the warm ups and the demon drills like it's my new way of life. I'm trying to make it to Austin, TX, too. I believe in hitting the ground running(bad pun) so any tips or encouragement is greatly apreciated. Thanks to all.
