Socialize / finally getting back into free running
« on: August 01, 2008, 07:23:23 AM »
i first started free running around a year ago, so you would think id gotten pretty good... unfortunately i only practiced 1 a month if that and it was only a few basic vaults :'(, a lot of the time i couldnt figure out where to practice :-\... my "pk sight"  has improved as well as my will to live and practice and have fun... as soon as my shin splints [got them by starting cross sountry (9 miles a week, 0 before that)] have healed  i will start practicing parkour a lot more.. so needless to say im thrilled :D, just wanted to say this because im so exited, also when i get my car/ license i will start going to the urban velocity meetings at usf... should be around february 2009

I have found a few places to train near my house but most of them are right next to busy roads, in comunities, or in public places with lots of people. I dont like training in front of people, not because im not good, but because i dont want to get stared at, yelled at, or bothered in any other way. could you guys give me some advice, thanks
