« on: September 23, 2007, 01:31:01 AM »
I'm wanting to start a small group here, but as far as I know, there's nobody within a 3 town radius, if anyone's interested, let me know.

Consumer Whores / OMG ALL THE SHOE THREADS!!!
« on: September 04, 2007, 10:15:45 PM »
Holy hell guys look at this, it looks like a clusterf#ck of the same threads, I'd say either merge them together or start piggy backing on existing threads. I mean man guys, there are 53 threads in the consumer whores section on shoes, do you guys not read the existing threads? or do you not believe in piggy backing? I realize I sound like a prick, but it hit me how many times people ask the same questions over and over in new threads every time, just thought I'd bring that up. And I also noticed that a majority of the shoe threads are centered around the 5.10s, enough with the monotony!

Thank you for your time, and I hope you don't disregard this as a rant, although it was a rant, it is an issue that needs to be considered :)

I've looked all over but I can't find it, I've tried many different things but...nope. lol Can anyone help me out with this?

Socialize / Clout's Exercise Challenge!!!
« on: August 23, 2007, 04:23:53 PM »
OKAY!!! I thought of a new game!! For those of you who don't read my training log (:P) I taking this whole week to do 7 exercises, I'm doing 1 exercise every half hour as many reps as I can everyday. Yesterday I did Pushups, I did 150 of those, today it was crunches, of which I did 603. Tomorrow I'm doing Squats, and I want everyone to make a guess on how many I'll do, and we're going to do this like the price is right, whoever's the closest without going over wins. And before you ask what you get for winning, I have nothing to give you, but you will have the satisfaction of having beaten the other traceurs! And at the end of the day, I'll reveal how many I did, and announce who the winner was!

Socialize / AIM
« on: August 22, 2007, 04:56:25 PM »
So it's come to my attention that there are quite a few traceurs in the marvelous apk forum who have AIM (AOL Instant messenger). So I got to thinking, how about we all post our SNs and get to know each other better, become a more close knit pk community. It could also make setting up jams easier, make it so we can more easily share tips with each other, and so many other things. 8)

Training Journals / Clout's training journal
« on: August 06, 2007, 05:13:08 PM »
My first entry, I didn't do much tonight though...

20 - accumulative pull-ups
10 - pistols (5 on each leg)
5 - lat pull-ups
20 - knee to elbow raises (10 on each side)
20 - accumulative regular pushups
10 - accumulative grasshopper dive pushups
Thera-band ligament conditioning for ankles knees and hips
20 sec. cat leap hold
5 minutes ground fighting
Vault Drills (I was just playing around so I don't know how many of each vault I did)
50 calf raises

That's not in any kind of order, I like to mix things up allot when I do my workouts (keeps them interesting)

Injuries - Discussion / Ankle pain
« on: August 06, 2007, 02:22:40 PM »
Now, I know if I want to find out the for sure cause of this I should go to the doctor, but I just want to make sure it's not something minor. I get this pain on the top of my right ankle, I think it may be the ligaments, but if I jump a bunch, it starts to hurt really bad, making drills nearly impractical.

Injuries - Discussion / Loud cracks in my knees
« on: June 22, 2007, 02:05:18 PM »
Not really an injury, but I didn't know where else to put it. Whenever I bend my knees all the way, they crack very loud, It doesn't hurt, but it's very annoying, especially when I do burpees. I was wondering if there's anything I can do to stop them from cracking?

Socialize / Taking Back My Spot!
« on: June 14, 2007, 08:28:24 AM »
Okay, so I go to a middle school to practice, and I've been training like a mad man for the big jam in Colorado in august, and every time I walk on a rail, or do an exercise involving the rails some fat high school kid tells me "you can't be doing that, it's dangerous" so today I got in an argument with him and I go back at 1 to talk to the principle to see if he'll give me permission to do so. I agreed with the guy that if the principle tells me to stop I will, and if he's fine with it, then nobody else is going to stop me (the principle is in charge of the faculty so I figure if he's fine with it then there's nothing the faculty can do) So hopefully all goes well and I can keep my spot, but if not, I'll have to find a new one (not many places in my town to practice) wish me luck...:(

Pics & Vids / Editing Software
« on: June 12, 2007, 07:20:07 AM »
I lost my editing software that came with my camera (I think my brother threw it away). Would anyone be willing to help me make a video? I can get the clips I just can't put them together. It would be greatly appreciated.

Injuries - Discussion / Strange pain in my toes
« on: June 11, 2007, 04:45:51 AM »
Okay, it feels almost like a stress fracture, but it dosen't hurt all the time when pressure is applied to it. So, when I walk sometimes (usually on concrete) my outer 4 toes hurt, my big toes are fine so I usually just put all of my weight on those while walking, so is it a stress fractuse? if not, what could it be?

Injuries - Discussion / Proper progression
« on: June 07, 2007, 10:34:16 AM »
I was wondering how to tell when you're ready to progress with your (for example) landings to avoid injury, also, how do you tell if your foot may have a minor injury? (my toes hurt when I walk) and how long of a break should you take between drills? Speaking of drills, are there any drills you know of that could help avoid stress fractures etc.?

Injuries - Discussion / Hyperextended knee
« on: June 05, 2007, 05:18:28 PM »
So, I was drilling my rolls, and I did one wrong, and my leg was at an angle towards the end of the rol, and my knee tried to bend towards the outside of my leg, I'm aware that I should RICE it and keep off of it, but any tips to prevent this in the future?

Socialize / Colorado National Jam Question?
« on: June 05, 2007, 05:08:52 PM »
So, I was wanting to go to the jam in colorado, but I have a few questions. First question is, I'm wanting to train to make sure that I don't get totally left behind by the better traceurs (I'm a beginner, I've been doing parkour for about a month and a half) and also so that I can enjoy the spots more. And secondly What all is provided by the planners of the jam? what should I bring? what should I expect to pay for? an most importantly, how do I sign up? do I sign up? or just go? thank you for your help ;D

« on: June 05, 2007, 12:03:21 PM »
lol okay, so I was drilling cat to cats getting ready for the jam in colorado and I (stupidly) got complacent around the 41st one lol, and I went around (spinning to the left) my feet connected with the ledge but me hands missed the rail completely, so (naturally) I fell and landed all on my left cheek, it hurts really bad, so, should I take off training untill it heals up? or should I just push through it?
