Next year, I will be going on a trip to these three countries. The cities will be the following.
Rome, Florence, Venice in Italy.
Zermatt and Basel in Switzerland.
Nice and Aix-en Provence.

I hope that I can film and practice with the communities there. If you have a good holding in these communities, please message me. I'd appreciate it.

Socialize / 365 APK CHALLENGE
« on: December 23, 2013, 04:17:37 PM »
As the year comes to an end, we can reflect on all our ups and downs.
For me, this year ended in a new obstacle, finding a new training place.

However, I am hoping for this year to come so the challenge can begin!
I may not be able to film it, but I cannot wait.
How about you guys?

Are you going to take the challenge?

Can't believe I didn't read this until now, but wow. It's awesome how you managed to save yourself from a potentially harmful accident by impulse that you came out with minimal wounds. Makes me realize I should be doing more drilling on how to properly fall in case I wind up in a situation similar to yours.

Dear God, I remember my roll training.
Ever watch a show like Haijime No Ippo or Karate Kid, those training montages?
That was my roll training, it took me months to get it right once.
I got it wrong a lot, and it, well, hurt.

This particular roll was weird.
I mean, it dissipated my kinetic energy, but it was like a log, kind of, it sprung me up, and I ended up in a weird, "one handed push-up" stance.
(How's that for excess use of commas?:) )

This is almost sig-worthy.

Lol, thank you.
I was really depressed at that time.
I am better now though.
Man, that sucks dude. Hope you can find a new training spot

I'll try. That's what parkour is about right?
Finding something new?

After 4 years of training, I've been kicked out of the one place I know I can train at.

EXTREMELY DEPRESSED.

It's kinda like when you were a kid, and you asked for a cookie, and your mother said to wait, and after you finally get the cookie, you drop it in the milk, and then your cup of milk spills.
Then you're left to do nothing but spoon the now dreadfully soggy cookie with your sad little hands.
It doesn't matter anyway, since the cookie now tastes like salty tears.
Salty, agonizingly slushy cookies of throbbing heartache.

I received an ultimate suck moment today: My younger brother and I had a terrible crash  on our bike today, I mean we slid. However even in the deepest suckage, an awesomeness can arise.
My brother was alright, and I instinctively rolled.
I just find it amazing that it was instinctively.

Socialize / Parkour Show that appeals to people who like it or not?
« on: March 03, 2013, 11:34:03 AM »
Hey guys, I been wondering quite optimistically about starting a YouTube series: Path. It is loosely based on my (obsession) interest with the mythological kitsune, for the supernatural twist. It has a love story implied for the audience who love, well, love. Not to mention satirizing the people who have misunderstanding with parkour, encouraging them, and cutting them down. (The main character) Themes are love, prejudice, faith, forgiveness, friendship, all the cheesy stuff. Not to mention all the Parkour, ladies and germs, action, fighting. I'm just a sophomore in high school with a 2.9 G.P.A ( :P insert cross-examination here.) But I want to use rhetoric, I have the over-done  stereotypical pathos, a general grab on the logos, but no ethos... Help?

Suck: No b-twist yet
Awesome: I've never felt more confident. I was at a restaurant serving pancakes for my Latin Club, and a boy which I learned is racist, sexist, and homophobic, was infront of my table during my break, and his ENTIRE family was glaring at me...I am racially mixed. They see Black, and as a bad thing, too. I then went to a b-ball game and thought all pessimisticly about those hostile to me without reason and honestly tell myself how I felt....and I surprised myself..."I love them, I hope to God that they'll have a good life." No hesitation.  " I hope no trickster deities come after them." I think jokingly, then pleasantly shocked by the upbeat mischievous song that started as soon as I thought it. Walking away, wondering how I overcame that obstacle...

I read an old Aesop fable, and I made the connection, I had done the exact same bad thing in the story to my friend... I didn't feel "a warm feeling" if you know what I mean.

Forgiving is the second hardest task in life, one I doubt I will master in this life. It's easier for some than others, and where forgiveness should be harder to apply I can, where it is easier I cannot. The little things that irritate me are my giants, what does one do?
Yeah, I understand. Maybe if one can't forgive, a punch is the 2nd best thing. :P

It's different when you make fun of yourself, when others do it it's just cruel. That's like me making a joke about Christianity in a curch, or you making a joke about buddhism around me, just not flying.
I agree, but its even more offensive if its directed at me, with a certain amount of hostility. Normally, people say it to make fun of the people that can't do it. (which can be themselves) Some people, are just ignorant, that's easy to pardon. :)

Some of the ones I've heard recently...

Assassin
Ninja
Those guys that jump on everything
"HEY, YOU!"

I hear "HEY YOU" all the time.
next to, "DON"T TOUCH MY FENCE EVER AGAIN!" and
"I KNEW NO GOOD WOULD COME THESE YOUNG FOLKS AND THEIR FLYING MACHINE BODIES!!"
