Pics & Vids / Re: Why do you create videos?
« on: February 26, 2012, 04:16:27 PM »
I'm I the only one who doesn't mind flips? Quite frankly, I thought the video above was a tad dull. Him movements were great, fast, and precise, but there was something missing. Then I realized it was the creativity. As long as there's flow, creativity, or some lifestyle shots then I'm pleased.

Is there anyway to download this faster if not at all?
Maybe someone would be so kind as to upload this to mediafire or something now that megaupload is shut down?

The shaolin kungfu roll is extremely different from martial arts rolls. It isn't just about rolling and then stopping to get up, it is often used to keep your momentum after you run of jump into it.

Movement / Re: Wall Run (horizontal)

I may not be the expert, but I have recently been able to do a two step wall run. Her are some tips,

When jumping toward the wall, make sure your strong leg touches the wall first so it can push you along the wall further

Push with your strong foot along the wall so you get more speed, but don't leave the wall

Quickly bring your left foot up to continue the run

Tilt your body away from the wall, but keep your legs near it

and go fast at an angle slighter less than a tic-tac's

I have found that doing martial arts that requires rolling to be most helpful. I have been able to do rolls from high places because of my former training.
