Parkour And Freerunning / Re: 100,000 Days of Parkour!

Sweet, I can post twice =D.

Walking up to the Rec. Center today A little blond kid thought it would be funny to steal my one of my crutches and run inside with it. I fell to my side and did yet another roll, This time I was able to catch up to him because the two rolls I did propelled myself so far to him I could catch his ankle and get my crutch back. I never thought the safety roll would be so usefull. I love you parkour safety roll.

8 days of parkour.

Today on my way to class I tripped, I through my crutches to the side and did a successfull roll back up to my one foot! Hopped over and grabbed my crutches and crutched on to class. I have to say thats something I learned from parkour that saved me alot of pain and humiliation!.

Parkour And Freerunning / I'm taking 9 Months!
« on: January 09, 2010, 10:29:03 PM »
I really Didn't want to post this, but i was insisted on it. One thing lead to another

Anyways! Over the last 4 or so months I have grown lazy and weaker because I am becoming a potato! I am constantly entertaining myself with video games, Youtube Vids. funny comics. ect. ect. Well I am really getting sick of it. Its effecting me physically and mentally

I have decided to take a 9 month training period! Purely Nine months from Sunday, January 10th 2010.
I will cut off all ties to the internet and video games, and television as much as I can.
Not just that though. I will take this time to physically train myself as much as I can, More than I ever have before!
To also train myself mentally. This will probably be one of the hardest periods of my life, and I have thought this over for a while.

A friend asked me to record my logs, that lead to a blog and the idea got pretty big. So Once a week I will update this blog with a photo or two and various details. Once a month will be a quick compilation of clips to show improvement.
I got alot of support on it. I originally did not want to make anything of it, or tell anyone, but a few good friends convinced me otherwise. So here it is

http://journeyofmitch.blogspot.com/

I would like to give a quick thanks to some friends who have been very supportive. One for instance "Spencer Basinger" and one of my Idols "Mark Toorock" himself!
