Thanks, guys.

Memitchi:  Yeah I remember him coming down, didn't get to train with him personally though.  :/
Jerald:  This was filmed kind of everywhere, but if you're talking about those shots early on, they're from Boca Raton in south FL.

Not sure if I posted this back when I first made it or not, but the song I used has kind of exploded in the last couple months, so I figured people might appreciate seeing it.  This is a video featuring many (but unfortunately not all) of the community leaders around the state of Florida.

I'm working on a new video now, should be out in a couple weeks.  Subscribe and whatnot, if it suits you.  Peace!

We're going to be expanding a lot after the new year.  Hoping to meet people at TOMJAM who will be able to represent their local areas.

This video was filmed over the last few months to showcase the FLPK community leaders from around the state. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get footage of everybody involved in helping this community and organization grow, but you're all still awesome!

Watch in HD, enjoy!

Sounds great man, I'd be down!  Hit us up with a date when you got one.

Also post something up on the FLPK facebook to let people know it's coming.

Hard to say without being able to see you, but in general, remember to point your toes toward your landing surface, landing on the balls of your feet, and absorb the impact as fully as possible.  As long as you follow proper technique on reasonable-sized drops only and don't juke your knees out at weird angles on impact you should be fine.

Unless you're particularly weak, in which case you need to condition.  Actually screw it, condition anyway.  If you plan to do parkour for more than a year you'll need to have strong legs, might as well start now.

Anyway, for now just take it easy a couple days.  If you find that the pain lingers then keep off it for a while.

Hey man, that's awesome that you've been getting prepared physically!  I don't know of anyone in your area specifically, but a bit south of you in Boynton beach and West Palm there are some people.  Check some of the other threads on here and see who you can find.

Also feel free to join us on our website ( and facebook (  The website is new and doesn't have any representatives for your area yet, but there should be some coming soon.

Good to have you man, hope to train with you soon!

Hey guys, we have a new website for the florida parkour scene:

There's no section up there for Palm Beach County yet, but there should be one fairly soon since I know there are a fair number of people training there.  Anyway, check it out and keep in touch.

Cool man, we appreciate it!

I checked out your facebook group and it looks like you've got a decent-sized group over there.  Do those people ALL come regularly or is it typically just a few of you?  I know that's how it usually goes, lol.  If there's enough interest in your area we may try to get a group from FLPK together and come visit.  Community is really important to us, so we work really hard to try to meet people in growing areas early and establish relationships and lines of cummunication.

Anyway, let me know if you think we'd get a good turnout if we did something like this in the near future.  Peace, bro!

Lol, tell me about it.  My life is one huge commercial for those damn delicious crackers.

Also thanks!  Yeah, I wish I could have spent more time there too.  I had about an hour to wander and film, so everything in the video was my first time ever at the spot.  It would have been great to have had a whole afternoon in the area.

Some simple movement from my three-week stint working aboard a cruise ship in Hawaii. I didn't have much free time, but I managed to train a little in Maui and Honolulu.  No footage from my day with HIPK, unfortunately.

Kay, it sounded at first like you were qualifying entry in this "team" as being elite or something.  We just don't want people stringing others along.  The parkour community is special because its free and open to everyone, so as long as you're not hanging membership over people's heads it's all good.

Please stop spamming the boards.  General forum etiquette would be to make ONE new thread and post in any RECENT threads in your area.  Most of these are months or years old and aren't going to get any response.

Thanks, good luck with training.

...let me know you may be able to join. But just maybe.
Bro are you for real?  Sarcasm doesn't translate well over the internet, but if this is serious that's very uncool.

Riji, most of the action in Florida is on facebook right now (, so if you haven't already, drop by and check it out.  Post up your location and search through the members, hopefully you can find some others around you.  Same goes for you, King.
