Tricking / Re: Bridge Help
« on: March 01, 2008, 06:57:34 PM »
i think i can agree with Ozzi that a front handspring dosent have allot to do with parkour. But that was a good tutorial. im going to try that approach in gymnastics. oh and i almost forgot the bridge takes more flexibility then strength. try to work on stretching your shoulders and back.

PS. flexibility takes a shit load of time to gain so this may take a while . i still cant do them and ive been working on them for 3 weeks i can still only get into something like a box shape. also other people probably no more about this then me so pleas correct me if im wrong

APK Academy Workout of the Day / for the incredably weak
« on: January 30, 2008, 07:15:57 PM »
so ive searched the forums and found allot about muscle ups. i cant work up to those because i can barely do 4 pull ups correctly! i would just work doing whatever pull ups i can but i dont feel much of a burn on my arms when im finished. So its not that i get tired i just cant physically lift myself up to that hight. is there anything i can do to work my way up to more pull ups after ive done as many as i can? push ups, dips ex.

ok ill probably end up changing this later but what the heck.
ok so today is 1-30-08 and im just starting my log. so Ive still just started out in parkour about two weeks ago so i know Im not very good yet. its still been snowing out so i haven't gotten a chance to actually go out and try some technique but Ive been training every day by doing the WOD the best i can and going over tricks in my head over and over. im going to the gymnastics over at my highschool on Friday with one of my friends. I just hope i don't look like a retard attempting some new vaults i tried out at the end of last fall. I can only hope ive found a sport that i can stick with.
