Well I totally fell off the wagon here. I'm having serious issues making myself a plan because I don't know what I want to do to improve. Anyone know how to get past this?

I would very much like those links to learn how to properly train. Keep in mind the only resource I have is a chin up bar. I would like to put on size a bit but I want to try to keep my body lean and thin. Endurance is a huge factor in my life so endurance exercises are very important to me, I keep up with calisthenics movement  on YouTube so I can do a lot of those exercises. Thank you for the l sit video very helpful. So yeah basic summary.  Little size. Much endurance. Continue raising my bench and squat maxs. Technique. All links and other things are helpful and I think I will start my new workout on the new year

As I know relatively nothing about working out I will take this into serious consideration... Also I did plan in working on technique on the weekends just did not include that in my plan... Think you for pointing this out and I will edit my program after further study focusing more on reaching goals then just endurance training

Thought I'd crack this bad boy open again... So an update is necessary.
I have been working out and working for the past six months and have doubled both my bench and squat maximums... I can now do a full dive kong no issue... And I work for a masonry company which will further help my muscles grow and my endurance prosper.   So on to my re-evaluated workout.
Circuits
20 elevated push ups (raised by five every week)
30 sit ups(raised by five every week)
Thirty second plank (raised by ten every week)
Thirty second right/left plank (raised by ten every week)
Five chin ups (raised by one to two every week)
Five clap push ups ( raised by one to two every week)

This will be done each Monday Wednesday and Friday
Goals:
Twenty chin ups no issue
One muscle up
One fifteen second L sit
Climb ups done with no issue
Be able to rail precision
Bench my body weight (145)

That's it.  Workouts start on Monday

a few weeks ago I was practicing dive rolls in my yard and I had this crazy idea that i should vault my dog with a dive roll... I thought she would move out of the way with the speeding person above her but she didn't. I clipped my feet with her body and landed directly on top of my head like a breakdancer. I believe I am an inch shorter to this day because of that stupid mistake

Parkour And Freerunning / Having website troubles
« on: June 03, 2013, 04:57:40 AM »
I know this is not the website troubles forum but I have left this topic up over there since April and I got no response, so......

I am not getting the website to agree with me. When I try to access my profile I get a message that says I have not confirmed my email and I have not been approved by a moderator. My email address got changed a few months ago and I cannot change my email address on the website to re-get the confirmation email. How do I fix all this?

Just did it on linoleum, I have two points of pain, outside wrist and opposite hip. Why? I took a video and showed it up. These are dive rolls, so they are not nearly as good as my rolls. I will show you those tomorrow when there is better light.

Rolling on concrete

the thing everyone is scared of until they commit

So I am fine with grass, can do a roll no problem from a story up

I can do em on crash mats, Not scared there but they are a little sloppy because I have not found stiff and firm mats.

What is a good next stage, besides cement, That I can use to gain more and more confidence

I have dropped for a while, fixed that like a month ago.

I tightened up about a week ago, and now I am carried into the roll like you said.

My shoulder seems to drop into it instead of rolling into it, and I think one day I'm going to jump off a two storyer or something and my shoulder is going to break or dislocate or something.

Stay tight

I just addressed this issue because my feet kept slamming down into the dirt when I rolled. The tighter you are, the easier it is to recover at the end. Shoulder, middle of back, opposite hip, feet, back to running.

2 more things

1. Are you practicing jumping off of small objects or just rolling in the grass?
2. Watch this video about the roll

Then there is this video learning the Ryan Doyle technique
