Good point. I don't seem to have trouble with most moves , running/sprinting comes easy to me.
Also I was wondering about High Intensity Interval Training(HIIT)  . From what i know it burns more calories than normal running.

by popularity the WORD parkour has grown a lot
but the majority of people don't actually know about parkour

The public definition of parkour, is when someone who jumps off buildings, runs up walls, and does crazy flips.

Unfortunately this is very true. smh

Not happening... that's all I'm saying, if people waste their body's potential because their so narrow minded, it sucks to be them. Unless you're my wife, one of my kids, one of my pets, or God-willing one of my parents, I'll do what I can, but if you're just some fat-ass who never got around to caring about your health, screw you. We all know Ding-dongs taste good, but they're not going to make you a fitter person.
That's pretty hateful, just saying. Think some overweight people want to start Parkour and freeruning too.

I can't take it anymore. I hate the ignorance of people in this community. I hate the direction in which parkour has gone over the past few years. I hate that people still think that doing 100 BW squats is going to condition their legs for drops. Parkour is not magically different from other sports, it is physical activity, it requires muscles to be strong. If you want to protect yourself from injury, get stronger.
Very well said. People now seem to be straying form the originally path of Parkour left by those before us.

Pics & Vids / 1930's Parkour
« on: December 23, 2011, 04:58:11 PM »
The video starts weird but it's pretty good and has some real parkour. Thought it was pretty cool, I found it on's Facebook. He also posted some background info: His name was Arnim Dahl. (12. March 1922- 3 August 1998) -Was the most popular stuntman from Germany.
P.S: the video isn't mine.

What are you guys talking about? There is no possible way wearing a cape could go wrong  :-Sarcasm
It could get caught on something. Happened to me a few years ago on Halloween. That's also why i hate capes now.

So the trampoline helps to learn the basic movements, but from there you gotta do it for real.  :)

Hahaha yeah but im sure he's most likely not that huge. XP
Not even close to that size. I'm like 5'6" 5'9" and not that wide. ;D
I look really close to the picture nick posted.

This is about 19% body fat.

You most likely aren't going to see ab definition until you hit 12%.
Don't know why I added that but, just thought it would be helpful.  :P
