Title: Another 40+ new guy here
Post by: BobT on April 03, 2007, 08:21:48 AM
Just wanted to say hi.  I've been lurking for a while and am glad I can now post - thanks Demon.

I'm just starting to learn some movements and it's not very pretty, but it's a lot of fun...  I've never been into running that much, my sports background has been rock-climbing (off and on since '98), mountain biking (off and on since '94) and snowboarding (since '88 - longer than some APK members have been alive  ;D).  Parkour is like a new world for me, all the fun of my other hobbies, but no gear required.

Anyway, once I know enough to post some intelligent questions, I'll let you know.

Welcome! Don't thank me, thank M2 for fixing it. All I did was a little bit of annoying prodding!

Bob T:

"longer than some APK members have been alive"

I can relate to that  ;)

Welcome.  I think there are a lot more of us willing to embrace the sense of "play" that Parkour encompasses.
