Post by: Rafe on November 29, 2006, 01:18:52 PM
Well Unduanted just released his so now here is Danes. Dane doesn't follow forums at all but he is my closest training partner and this is complitation of the best of all the footage he took this year. I thought it was worth sharing. There is a little bit of acrobtics in the video.

Those slanted rail precision's were absolutely sick, he has some of the best balance I've ever seen.

Very very very nice video.

I'm gonna be out in your neck of the woods within the next 2 or 3  years and I must hit up those spots.
The Whatcom falls vid is saved in my "sick vids" folder and remains one of my favorites.

Keep training, hope to run with you guys some day.

What kind of shoes was that guy wearing?????  Those precisions were insane.  Mainly those slanted ones.  Have you guys ever tried slanted precisons?  They are practically impossible.  Kudos...this guy has skill.

Thats funny about the shoes. There some old teva's there supposed to be spider rubber(super grippy) but there not very grippy actually there rather heavy too. I am rather incredelous how long he has run in those shoes. But its not the shoes its the traceur that matters, I have gone through 7 or 8 pairs of shoes in our year and half in training, he has used just two. Not one super grippy nice new shoe has ever given me the edge. If want to do perciscions like that forget about shoes and concentrate on the training.

Slanted precisions aren't too bad.. it's just getting used to landing with one leg more bent than the other (which does take a lot of practice) and of course having super strong ankles (and shoes that can grip a rail slant). :P

Pretty good vid though!

I'm jealous man.  Those were some sick woods.  I wish I had something like that around me.  And the slanted precicions, well lets just say I'm now inspired to go practice them.  Awesome video.

It was alright, your balance is definetly your strong suit.
