Title: Are you thinking abouyt getting some Ariakes??
Post by: JimmyD-TPK on May 10, 2010, 04:19:26 PM
This is a video featuring the K-Swiss Ariakes  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fE2eP-PdSgk (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fE2eP-PdSgk)

Shoe info:   the grip is Amazing, and the shoe's life span (if under hard core training) is about 5 months. However, it can last you all year if you treat them kindly. The Ariake its self is very comffy. Reduces landing force payload on your body by quite a bit, Because of its shock abzorbing heel cushion.  If you have any questions ask me, i've owned .. and destroyed, about 7 pairs now.   ;)

--Did i spell abzorbing right??   probly not

Are the shoe sizes for Ariakes relevant?
In comparison to other shoes. i mean
I wear a 10 1/2 size, would I need to get a bigger o smaller size?

I got the KOs, while they took forever to get to me, I really like them so far. They were cheap (only $40) and they reflect that but they are well worth the money as training shoes. The are really light, and offer good grip. But the advertising was no joke when they said they will be "the best shoe you ever destroyed". I have used them for a little over 3 weeks and I can already wee where strands are starting to stick out and the eyelets will fall out. They haven't actually started falling apart yet, but they aren't exactly the most durable shoe out there. But overall I still am satisfied with the $40 I spent.

Glad I could help, but that stinks that they aren't in your size  :( I'm still mad that the gray Ariakes are all sold out in my size
