Title: Mission Statement (Read if new to subforum)
Post by: Kyle Rudolph on January 19, 2010, 09:48:28 PM
Ok, so it has come to my attention that a lot of people, some of those who are even in this group, don't know what the statement of it is.

GorillaPK was created by myself and I had the support from Alex Mills to get it started up. It is a group made for big traceurs by big traceurs. It was created to encourage big guys to try parkour and get more involved in it and to not think of it as solely a discipline for small guys.

That is the basic idea

These are the basic points of it.

1. Anyone can be a part of GorillaPK. ANYONE. There is no height and weight criteria like some people seem to think there is. If you think you are larger then what would be normal for a stereotypical traceur or if you don't think you con completely relate to how smaller guys train and apply it to yourself without question then this group is for you.

2. GorillaPK does not DOES NOT encourage laziness or obesity. GorillaPK aims to take people who may be extremely out of shape and lazy and transform that fat into muscle, healthy living and parkour ability. And then, for the muscle bound guys who are not fat but still consider themselves big, to take their training and ability to the next level.

3. GorillaPK members are no different for normal traceurs, you're just as good as anyone else. You're just part of an awesome group.  ;)

Hope this cleared up some stuff for some people. If you have any other questions, please feel free to post here.
