What's in your first aid kit?
« on: December 13, 2007, 05:45:42 PM »
Yeah, tried to jump over benches with my friend yesterday. Today I have a knee bruise, and I waited too long to remember R.I.C.E. What's in your personal first-aid kit in regards to scrapes, cuts, bruises, muscle pain etc.? I might as well stock up on that stuff now. I prefer herbal-derived (such as arnica, always did wonders for me but we ran out  :-[ ) to steroids or painkillers.
Wish me luck!

Clean-wipes, bandages/wraps, neosporin, bandaids/tape. It's enough to treat most common injuries in the field if they need to be treated, or at least clean them up a bit while whatever other "specialized" equipment we need is on its way.

Various bandages, iodine swabs, advil, liquid bandage ('new skin'), medical tape, duct tape (hey, you never know), a couple of sewing needles (for splinters), sunscreen, vasoline (just shut it, it's for covering wounds ;))

Umm...leaves...and water from drinking fountains...

And body spray for disinfectant.

Perhaps you should consider a glossary of common medical acronyms for yours.

Wish me luck!
