Daniel Arroyo (The Progression)

I labeled my new video "The Progression" because Parkour is about progression, and many other things! Tell me what you think!

Well done, friend! You have excellent flow, precision and overall control. One thing I would really work on though is approach footwork. When you're approaching an obstacle for a vault, underbar or wall-run, I notice a few stutter steps most of the time. I would really recommend checking out Demon's Drill for the month of November and this article by Blane. They have similar themes, and I think they could really help you!

Excellent work! Keep it up. I hope to train with you some day.

I appreciate the compliments, and you are right I do take small steps before my vaults/underbars, I am actually working on the right now! Thanks again!

well I just watched it again and I just always tend to keep my steps short because I gain more speed/momentum! When I spread my feet farther I feel like I lose my approach! (I just went outside to try them both) LOL.

I wanna know how high the wall was and if there were places to grip on the side. You know which wall.

Loved that precision from limb to limb on the tree, the video was awesome too :D, i know what you mean by gaining momentum from the short steps since it seems to work for me too when i'm jumping over things.

No way!!!!! How tall are you? I wanna measure for myself. I'm just mad because you might be able to wall jump higher than I can. Maybe you made a mistake, I had thought for a while that this one wall was 15 ft, but on closer inspection I realized it was only 12!

I am 5'6" but lets get technical so I too can know for sure; a standard brick is 3 1/5" plus 3/8" mortar space so lets just round to the nearest half an inch, that will give us 3 1/2", so there are 52 brick rows, that gives us 182", then divide that by 12 and you get 15.1', OMG I didn't even know that that wall is that tall!!!!!!!

I really really like your turn vault thingie that you did towards the begining, where you kind of jumped over the rail and into the turn vault.

I never even thought about that, I'm going to train it right now.

Great video. The only tip I have is to work on foot placement so you don't studder step as much.
