Parkour is not about making videos, freerunning as it was meant to be is not about making videos, all you guys are doing is just jumping around really is all it seems, trying to make a name for yourself which is also NOT what either of those disciplines are or should be about. Posting every single clip you shoot is not going to get you anything so if you just wait a bit and amass some new footage, only put new footage in your videos and make sure they are a decent length (like around 3 min I'd think) and you'd probably get a lot less crap. Coming into this with an ego is not the right way about it, you can only learn as much as you don't know and if you act like you are the best thing since sliced bread then you have a lot to learn about what discipline you are trying to get into. best of luck, train smart and hard.

-- and i dont get why people talk shit about me posting videos
especially when i havent ever even seen one clip of most of you

to me, and everyone on the internet, its like you dont even free run.

im not saying you dont but your not showing anyone what you can do....

Im sorry but I don't feel like I need to prove myself to you at all. If you need to prove yourself then whatever; thats you, not me. I have posted videos before, a sampler (for help) and a couple of chase scenes. None of which I was trying to show off in.

I guarantee there are plenty of traceurs/freerunners that are "better" and more experienced than you, but have no videos. Videos are not what this is all about, or rather what it should all be about.

By all means keep posting videos. But remember its quality not quantity.

Im not showing off by any means and i know im not the best --

we are tying to make a name for our selfs  --

i cant believe you would say that all we are doing is jumping around -- we are not weak by any means
but i know there are people who are by far more experienced than me,

--who do you think i look up to?  -

im not asking anyone to "proove" theirself to me -- just, as long as ive been on this site, i havent seen one single clip of most of the people who reply to my posts....

What does them having a video posted have anything to do with them trying to give you constructive criticism?
Think how long David Belle and Seb and Stehpane went with out even thinking about pulling out a camera.

Michael, you should consider the fact that you have managed to irritate guys inside the most tolerant and nicest group of traceurs you'll probably ever see on the internet. Try posting all your videos on another forum and see what kind of reaction you get, and while you're at it, explain to them that all you want to do is get your name out there. Just try that and see what  happens. Start out with Parkour.net, and maybe the new site pkna.com, and don't leave out UF.. and then measure how long it takes before people get irritated and start giving you negative feedback. Compare that to how long it took on APK. Then think the whole situation over again.

The very first video i ever posted on apk was the roof tops and woods video and damn, people snapped on me -- i got like -30 on karma from one post--

thanks for giving me them sites, i didn't know you could post videos on there...

dont put words in my mouth by saying all i want to do is get my name out there

i said we are doing that but i didnt say that is all we are trying to do --

-- it seems like a lot of people's posts towards me are cocky b4 i even say anything

-idk -- i dont get it but i do -

Here are the correct addresses for those other sites where you can test the feedback from other traceurs outside of our community at APK.

www.parkour.net

www.parkournorthamerica.com

www.urbanfreeflow.com

Ok guys, us ganging up on him isnt helping our purpose! We are suppose to support one another, even if we don't agree with them! So Just please keep the feed back towards their group as nice as possible! We are mature in the sense that we should know how to treat one another! So to simply/nicely put this "The best way to post vids, is to only post when you yourself can see progression" If you cant see any progression then simply dont post until you break new barriers!!!!

Then why bring up the point of not having any videos?
