You do it by taking a rapid succession of photos, then you photoshop them together, cutting out all the extraneous stuff, and leaving only you, in the 15 or so positions.

I've also seen this done another way. You rapidly open and close the shutter on the same exposure, and i mean rapidly. If the camera doesn't move, and conditions stay the same, you should get a similar effect without the need for photoshop.

actually, I've heard of a few digital cams that make that effect. There are some setting you have to change but I know that it's actually not a hard effect even for digital cameras to duplicate. can't even tell you what it's called though, sorry, I know how useless I sound, but I knew a guy who used to do that kind of stuff (before I moved to Oklahoma).

ok that helps a little, but how do i put them together on photoshop, all in one picture?

0. Use a tripod to shoot the image
1. Open your first image
2. Open & copy the next image
3. Select your original image and paste - it will be pasted as a new layer by default
3. Select new layer and erase the background
4. Repeat for all images in sequence
5. Flatten the image (if you want to have a smaller file)
6. Save it trying not to overwrite the original image (assuming you want to save the original)

walah :)

If you are willing to dish ou 3000 plus on a digital slr, then it will work a digital camera plus phtoshop fro another 1200 or come across it for free cough bittorrent cough but actually if ur looking for a good photoshop alternative there are ton of free open source programs the best of which would be GIMP google it. as for you camera get an old 35mm slr then just develop them and scan the photos on to ur pc/mac or ask for a cd when u get the pics deveolped
