Webster front flip help (with videos)
« on: August 02, 2015, 03:37:08 PM »
So I've been working on my webster for a week, and I seem to be not getting better. I always try different things and see if I'm doing something wrong, but this way is the only really good approach to it for me. I kick as hard as I can (whilst maintaining technique), push off hard with my jump leg, and throw my arms back and up. This video is from day 1 of learning it (I practiced for 6 more days, but the other flips were either worse, or the same).

Im not expert (but I can webster) but one thing you could do to make it better is tuck harder. Grab your legs and dont let go. I found that helped me allot.

I found also when doing the webster that when you make your body pivot with your leg it gets you more height and rotation speed. i have a Progression video of a standing axe webster on my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEu27BPJ9LpYLteefAM3ADw
