Hey, my name is Nathan and I have done parkour for a while, but I'm struggling with freerunning... I'm having trouble pulling through on my sideflip because I cant rotate far enough I think.... Any advice?

Well, for a sideflip, you have to make sure you understand the "scooping" thing. Make sure your arms go UP and then your inside arm (the one you're flipping over) comes down and "scoops" your legs into a tuck. With a sideflip you don't have to be AS tight as with most other flips, but the tighter the better. The tighter you tuck the faster you can untuck and spot your landing. Another thing I noticed is that your head is REALLY important to how you land. Make sure you're looking where you will land and your body will help you make it happen. I've tried closing my eyes and sideflipping, and it completely messed me up. I landed, but I fell onto my butt afterwards.

Remember: Jump high, Tuck hard, Land soft.
And look where you want to land :P
