Hi all:

My name is Robert Andrade and I live in bend, oregon.  I am interested in the APK Warm-Up but there is no list/description of just what that is.  Did I not look hard enough and if I did not can someone point me to it.  Thanks all. :)

Thanks! All exercise descriptions should be linked directly to the appropriate page in that section of the site. Post up if you have any questions!

The best things to start learning are landings and rolls. Nuff said.

As for fitness, try the Workout of the day. If thats to hard work up to it.

For a total newbie..the APK warmup (see link above) is a workout in itself.

I did the warmup for a month or so, then moved on to the WOD.

Something of note...the WOD is pretty tough! Do what you can, listen to your body and don't overdo it!!
Substitute where you need (For example: I did pullups with one foot on a chair until I could crank the real things)

And make sure to vary fitness training with skills training (rolls, landings, vaults etc) keep it fun and interesting and you will stick with it!!

Happy training :)

After you've tried the APK warm-up, Getting Started is a good place to go. You need to get landings and rolls down before you start vaulting and jumping.
