First of all I'm new here and new to parkour  :-Sarcasm

I'm 156 lb, 5 ft 6 inch tall and im 18 years old

should I go 145 lb to have a lighter body?

additional Question:

Is it too late to start Parkour at this age?

We are glad you are here Christian! Welcome to parkour and the community here.

You are NEVER too old to start parkour.

Don't worry too much about your height:weight ratio because everyone is different and honestly it doesn't matter.  You may see online charts or something for "optimal" ratios.  In truth, that's crap.

If you are concerned about your weight, just watch what you eat, keep a clean, consistent diet, and lift heavy things. That's the best, most basic tip to give for general health.

If you have specific questions, feel free to ask anywhere!  Many people are generous to help in any way they can.

I am 45... you are never too old!

as far as your weight - I am trying to shed a few pounds because I have a muscle up as a goal, so unless you have some specific goal in mind, or a reason you think you should be lighter, don't worry about it too much, just train, it'll all balance out I'm sure
