Soaking wet when we got out of school so no team training. Went home and climbed trees and navigated my woods again. Got most of it all on the GoPro. Not much else to say about today's training

Notes
Seeing more spots I can climb, it's like developing pk vision all over again. Since I climbed trees somewhat recently I felt more confidant which made me climb much faster, higher, and creatively. Found ways paths that required some jumps in the woods, want similar situations in the future that can incorporate more movement diversity.

This is definitely the busiest month of 2014 so far. I'm not going to attempt toformat last week, just leaving these notes: On my own Tuesday and Thursday were strides safety's and balancing. Also traverse around and to everything underneath one of the playgrounds. Did so much pulling, throwing, and handing that Saturday's work worked my arms a lot. Haven't had a complete rest day since 4/27/14 but had two mostly rest days last Mondays and Tuesday. Improved clean weight and we are doing 5x4 dead lits instead of 8x3 and last classes other exercises were 3x4
They took out the small black fence around some sand last weekend. I'll never get to complete my stride precision on it :(

MONDAY, MAY 6, 2014
Hatpins and I at Wallace
Got a few shots with the GoPro, did strides, safety's, kongs, laches, and showed Hatpins some tree climbing at the park.

TUESDAY, MAY 7, 2014
Quote
Strength
Jump ropes for agility. dead lift 5x4 bench, squat, and clean 3x4. Metabolic cycles were: Arms, stomach, isometric, and squat. Seniors are maxing and we ran very well for the 30 and 15 sprint that we didn't do the rest.

Big shout out to Dick, Ronnie, and Jordan for keeping this place running when I get busy with life haha.

I'm in my last semester of community college before I transfer and only actually need to pass one of my classes and only work on weekends. This site helps maintain my sanity, especially while most of my friends are away.

I hear that, we all need something.

Wednesday strength was kind of weak because we skipped agility, metabolics, and sprints.
THURSDAY, MAY 8, 2014
Got some interesting combinations with the slider at the playground, tried to increase my standing and running precision distance, and finished with some vaults.

I'll try to update with Tuesday's stuff later. Before I forget them, my maxes in strength today were 145 for bench, 245 for squat (5 pounds away from my goal!), and 110 for clean. I will re-try clean and bench next class, didn't have enough time to really do clean.

Super busy this week. Final weights are 145 bench, 265 squat, 120 clean, 123 recorded body weight. Not feeling good about my cleans. Finals week is holding me back, may post Wednesday. Trained with my little buddy Jaden last Tuesday and Thursday, got some others involved.

I'm BAAAaaack  :)

TUESDAY, MAY 20, 2014
Light training with Hatpins. Pretty much just precisions, safety downs, and rolls.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 21, 2014
Strength was really light because finals. Only did dead lift, squat, clean, and bench beside sthe warm up.

SATURDAY, MAY 24, 2013
(B)East Coast Day 1: Gateway Park in Rosslyn.
Hatpins and I help set up obstacles, then went about exploring the spots in the park. I got badly sunburned from wearing a tank for the first time this summer. We both slightly hurt our hands so not many vaults were done.

SUNDAY MAY 25, 2014
(B)East Coast Day 2: Great Falls National Park
On the trails a lot, they had nice rocks. Played "the floor is lava" plenty. Bits of climbing here and there.

NOTES
Doing more challenging cranes, pop vaults feeling pretty fluid, all my minor injuries mostly healed today.

Had an incredible time at (B)east and met somebody from the forums, Nick Smith

Just did light barefoot precision training and QM with the dog yesterday

SATURDAY, MAY 31, 2014
First Team training this summer, just me and Kaleb
Taught Kaleb the roll, precision, stride, safety, lazy, and landing techniques. He feels good enough to practice those on his own.
I practiced what I taught and worked on left hand speeds, I found out my wrist isn't totally better yet.

Wow it's been over a month. I have still been popping in to moderate here and there but for the most part have been absent. I'm dealing with a personal issue that's very difficult and time consuming, that and the fact that all my last training sessions were very similar because I am avoiding using my right wrist. Sorry guys. I might return to my regular activity level once school (and my normal schedules) get going again.

Finally visited the doctors today about my wrist. Not sure what it is, could be tendinitis, I'm seeing a specialist sometime soon. My life of one armed pk continues.

Should have updated this a long time ago. I have tendonitis caused from straining it back when I maxed my clean. For now I'm wearing a brace at work (power tools aren't too nice to my wrist), taking an anti-inflammatory, and doing therapy.
