Weight loss from diet

I've been following the guidelines in the sticky in eating healthy but I haven't lost any weight. How long after sticking to the diet will I start to lose weight? Or do I need to follow ratios as well?

You have to eat at a caloric deficit to lose weight.

Calories out > Calories in = lose weight.

Slowly taper down the calories until you start to see changes.  Drastic changes are a bad idea, and eating WAY too little will actually slow down the process.

Basically It'd tell you how much proteins/carbs/fats to get, and some pointers.

the important thing is always eating healthy. If you just diet and go back to before you will probably gain more weight than you lost in the first place.

No one can lose fat with only diet. Combination of diet and exercise plays a significant role in losing weight and fitness. Make a proper workout plan for body maintenance and try to go for morning walk.

Good advice, but you can absolutely lose fat with only diet. Diet is the single most important driving factor in weight loss.
