Is skipping lunch okay?
« on: February 23, 2013, 10:23:11 PM »
So for the past 2 weeks I haven't been bringing lunch to school, hardly eating dinner but having a decent breakfast of bread jam and milk (fat free). I was wondering, is this healthy? I have lost 10 pounds because of this so I am now hovering between 199lb and 200lb. If it isn't can anyone suggest any alternatives. And I am a Indian vegetarian which means no fish if you have any meal options. My mom says that I am looking weaker but I feel fine and I feel less hungry nowadays. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'll tell you from experience.. don't skip lunch/dinner.

You'll be less and less hungry, and believe me, its not healthy. You'll reach a point where you notice that you are much weaker, so the sooner you start eating again, the easier it will be.

Yes. You can skip lunch. Anyone that tell you differentially is either IFBB (which at that level, requires meal placement) or a f#cking retard. As long as you meet macro's meal placement is bullishit.

I regularly fast 18-20 hours a day. I eat my meals in usually 1 or 2 large meals. Feelsgoodman.jpeg.

Taking into account what you, JesterPT, and Kyle have said, I think you would be fine with occasionally skipping lunch.

You're aware of your diet, you haven't been feeling weaker when you DO skip lunch, and as long as you are meeting certain caloric-intake amounts, and your fairly regular with how and what you eat...WHICH your body has become accustomed to, then I think you aren't in any danger by skipping lunch.

If you do start to feel weaker, consider writing out your daily meals, figuring out what vitamins, minerals, etc might be missing and supplement them with small snacks, or supplement pills.
