PK 365/52 Goal

I have been inspired by my close friend Jimmy Davidson to start my own 365/52! on January 1st 2012 I will do parkour everyday for 365 days. My goal is to do PK for at least 20min a day minimum. I will make a video every month to show improvement/proof of my goal. For a whole year I'm going to commit to getting better every day.

I'm going to do my best to finish my goal strong!

Day 1/ Week1/ Month 1

OK so today was the first day of my 365. it was really fun i got to train with my some of my friends that are as well doing the 365. we all trained at a local middle school that we always train at. we did a good amount of rail flow and good conditioning doing a ground is lava/speed run around the entire school. (big perimeter)

I'm going to have a goal for each month for this month I'm going to do at least one backflip (landed) and at least one bar kip.

and I'm going to have a few long term goals that i want to get by end of the year. one of them being getting the (Chap wall) it is a big wall that I want to wall run. I'm not that close but i will get it!!

Day 2/ Week 1/ Month 1

do today was a busy day so i trained late i just practiced the basic flips front, side, and back. i also worked on single rail flow. i as well did a total of 4 back flips and 5 bar kips.

Day 3/ week 1/ month 1

So today I worked some more flow on a rail I built. And did a good handfull of bar kips today. I went to school basket ball game at my school. But couldnt get in. So I just did various courses by this sick spot by the outside of the (school) gym. And when I was tired I just snuck in to the game. After my friend draged me to the (workout) gym. And I was supper tired. But waited a while and did a backflips since my goal is to do at least one a day this month the first one wasn't clean but the second one was good. I hope tomorrow is a better day! Hope to see some of you 365ers at he gym (PK) tomorow

Day 4/ week 1/ month 1

Today I focused alot on my month goal. I did alot of bar kips and I can do them 9/10 now :D just one step and I get it! I also did a good amount of backflips landed them 1/2 I need work on them but that's why I'm doing one every day. I also did a few websters and Webster sides. Then I just played On my trampoline that is put up against a wall so I did a buch of wall flips and other wall stuff. I also just worked side flips with one step I get them 80% landed.

Day 5/ Week 1/ Month 1

today started with a few backflips and bar kips.  a few hours later i went to a school that i have never trained at with my friend nathan, who is also doing the 365. i did a few tic-tacs over a fence. then worked some rail flow and i finally found a pair of rails that are the perfect distance for this move i came up with. you'll see it in my month 1! after that my friend showed me some grass which turned out to be turf which turned out to be 1/16th of an inch thin on top of pure concrete!! and to make it even better.... i was barefoot. but i now realize I'm comfortable doing flips on concrete and i should never ever flip on concrete bare foot again. but it was fun i know i can control my flip way better than before!

Day 6/ week 1/ month 1

Today I did some bar kips then some backflips. Then rail flow. I also did some pull ups and wall dips.  I'm trying to learn front hip circles but I can't get them any tips?

Today was more of a rest day. I did a few sit ups, push ups, wall dips and pull ups. But of course I dud 1 backflip and a barkip.

Day 8/ Week 2/ Month 1

Today was my Dad's birthday so just did stuff late. I did revers bare crawls up my stairs, one leg jumps up the stairs, broad jumps up the stairs, then standing kongs up stairs. And a backflip and a bar kip. Then tried this cool new move I came up with for the first time.

Day 9/ Week 2/ Month 1

Today I was at the hospital visiting my cuosin that had an operation. There was actually some ok there so I took advantage of that :) Mostly flips then got yelled at and went back inside. And got home around 9:30pm and well I have school early again now. I also did a bar kip and 2 backflips when I got home. Then reverse bear crawled up the stairs and went to bed.

Day 10/ Week 2/ Month 1

Today I got back to school. And got the club running again. By the way I'm the president of our school parkour club along with my friend Terry. So worked kong persisions and wall runs. Then rail flow. We also played a great game of ground is lava. Then jimmy got there and we played Parkour horse. We I came up with an inverted version of this trick I came up with. It was a good day until I tried a Webster side but over did it  :( after that got home did a bar kip and a backflip. Then went to karate and figured out how to flip out of a hip throw  ;D

today was really busy so got home did 3 bar kips then an APK workout. worked balance on my rail.
