Zone / Checkpoint Rules
« on: August 16, 2011, 03:20:57 AM »
One of the points which needs to be clarified at any particular event is "what is a zone" how does it work, and how does one clear it.

On any given course there may be several types of zones, one which must be completely passed through (like a hoop) or passed over (top of a box) - but does the person need to touch it, simply pass through the space, put both feet flat?

This area isn't that hard to define, it just needs to be defined well and explained to each competitor before the event.

Be Useful.

Courses must be explained extremely thoroughly to all competitors during a walk-through, before the competition starts. Competitors should also be given a short time after the walk through to ask any questions and clarify anything else they may be wondering about.
