Paradise/Chico Parkour
« on: July 30, 2011, 11:05:40 PM »
I wanted to put a little heads up here.  So far I am a solo crew it seems, but I have a couple people who are interested in doing some parkour, but nothing steady.  On top of that my Dojo is planning on opening up as an area for people to practice tricking indoors when necessary.

Another thing is that in Chico there is an open gym on Monday nights that I plan on attending, and I hope to meet some traceurs there.  Here is a link to the gym.

There used to be a group of guys in Chico that would come down to the Bay Area a couple times a year for a few of the SFPK Monthly Jams.  I haven't seen them in a long time though, not sure if they still train.

Check out http://www.sfparkour.com, we have lots of members from the outlying areas, like myself actually.  I live in Santa Rosa, about an hour north.  Even if you can't make it frequently, we do some big events that are worth checking out.  Our monthly jams (always on the 3rd Sunday, rotating around from SF, East Bay, Sacramento, San Jose, Santa Rosa, etc.) usually get 20-50 people, and our first international jam in June this year had ~130 from all over.  Hope to see you someday.

Do you trick as well?  I just went to Loopkicks for the final battle a few weeks ago.  Super inspiring.
