Pre-workout for a swimmer?
« on: July 19, 2011, 12:04:04 PM »
What would you guys suggest a swimmer like myself eats before practice? We usually swim 4000m-5500m and I need something to put in my system that won't make me feel sick, but will keep my energy up. Lately I've just been eating Clif Bars, Bananas, and water, however, these don't seem like the smartest choices. Suggestions?
I eat a lot of food.

Any real food is fine really

Fruit + some form of protein is usually good
