1k Literally!?!
« on: July 01, 2011, 11:10:59 AM »
Hello parkour community! I have been preparing both my body and mind for this for a year and 3 months. I am going to do 1 thousand Kongs in less than 4 weeks! But b4 I do it I am just wondering if at all that this would be beneficial or bad? Please reply with opinions! Thanks.

It's an overuse injury waiting to happen.

Read this: http://www.eatmoveimprove.com/2009/08/on-tendonitis/ and make certain that you understand the implications of ignoring the symptoms before you begin this quest.
Posts are not to be mistaken for medical or training advice, or anything other than the rantings of an amateur strongman and powerlifter.

I have read the link and glad that showed me it but I am not doing it back to back. I have already gotten together with some other trainers and we have worked out a schedule which also includes sets, reps, and rest days.
